As we come to the end of 2012, I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2013 and thank you all for visiting this blog. Hopefully you have been helped by the solutions I have provided. These solutions were some of the problems I’ve faced over the course of this year, that I thought were interesting enough to share with everyone.
This is the first time that I have started a blog and kept it up with regular posts for this length of time, I feel empowered by it. In the past on previous blog’s I would publish the odd post every couple of months and wouldn’t understand why I wasn’t receiving thousands of visitors. But over time my skills improved as did my confidence.
Currently I am averaging at least 1 post a week, some weeks more. I guess this depends as much on my work load and other responsibilities as it does on coming across something post worthy. I do have a back list of blog posts I can fall back on in the event that I am unable to come up with a post and I am in the process of writing them up to insure this blog doesn’t become stale.
I intend to go into the New Year all guns blazing, some resolutions I am making are:
- To write the first draft of my novel Echoes of the Past.
- To improve my IT skills.
- To keep this blog going for another year.
- Make 2013 better than 2012.
- Write more.
- Improve the number of visits to this blog and continue improving the content and volume of posts.
I’m looking forward to 2013 as it is the year I am getting married amongst other things. What are your New Year’s resolutions? What are you looking forward to in the forthcoming year? Let us know in the comments.
For anyone reading this, one thing you must all do in 2013 is write more. Don’t worry too much about the form or quality of what you are writing just tell the story whatever it may be. This is perhaps the most important lesson I have learnt this year.
Happy New Year 2013
