Update 13-04-2015 – I have decided to open up this challenge to include blog posts on any subject. The challenge is big enough without limiting what I can write about.
I have decided to challenge myself to write a blog post each day for 100 days.
This idea has come about because I read about 100 happy days at the weekend and decided to modify the premise to do something every day for 100 days. I have decided to name it (imaginatively) the 100 day challenge.
When trying to decide on what to do each day for 100 days I came to the conclusion that I have been writing posts on here sparodically over the past year due to starting a new job. Posting less often has a major affect on visits to this site as well reducing the small amount of revenue I receive from the adverts. The revenue that the adverts generate is used to keep the site online so it is in my interest to ensure that I continue to receive it.
I am planning on keeping an IT theme throughout the challenge with a focus on Linux and it’s related technologies as that is what I do in my day job. This is in the hope that I can be inspired to write something as a come across interesting aspects of my work.
At the time of writing this post it is 12:20AM BST so I can officially count this as being my first of 100 posts. The last post if I successfully complete the challenge should be published on July 15th 2015.
Please make sure you check back as often as possible to ensure that you don’t miss any of my posts.
Can you improve on any of the tips I’ve discussed here? If you can let me know in the comments.
