The ADHD Child

He ran, as if possessed
Like a demon on two legs
His eyes shining like a devil
A beast from another level

He was the ADHD child
He was uncontrollable and wild
He would do things for attention
And spend his hometime in detention

People would turn their heads and wonder
Would he cast his parents asunder?
And they would stand and stare
As he would run and scream and tear

He went to see so many doctors
Who said his parents didnt proctor
They suggested different schemes
But the kid said “in your dreams”

And after years and years of chaos
Caused by that flawed enzyme
Thus came the day the spell was broken
And he behaved for all of time
